Nigeria Police Security Cabins: Trusted by Karmod
Karmod structures, which are widely used at security points in many countries worldwide, have now been chosen by the Nigeria Police Force. As part of this project, 12 guard cabins were produced and shipped to Nigeria. These security cabins have been put into use at 12 different police security checkpoints established in the capital, Abuja, becoming a key part of the nation's security infrastructure.
Karmod security cabins have also been installed at the Nigeria Police Force headquarters, where officers responsible for safeguarding the headquarters will be stationed in these modern cabins. Utilizing modular polyester cabin models, the structures were prefabricated using GRP (Glass Reinforced Polyester) technology at Karmod’s advanced facilities. For this project, two different cabin sizes were selected to meet the needs of the Nigeria Police. The 270x270-sized security cabins were placed at the headquarters and busy city squares, while the smaller 150x215 guard cabins were allocated to suburban areas of Abuja.
These prefabricated polyester guard cabins, produced ready for use, are among the most preferred structures in security zones. The walls and roof panels of Karmod security cabins are manufactured with high insulation quality on modern production lines. In the manufacturing process, fiberglass is applied to reinforce the panels, which are made from polyester and gelcoat materials using special molds. To enhance the insulation, polyurethane is injected into the panels with full density using automated systems. The panels are then heat-treated in custom ovens to boost their durability. Through this unique process developed by Karmod, the raw material reactions in the cabin panels are neutralized, ensuring maximum strength.
The polyester security cabins, in addition to their external aesthetics, stand out for their interior comfort. The wide-angle windows, positioned on three sides, provide excellent visibility and ease of observation at security points. With over thirty different size options available, these cabins combine functionality with visual appeal, making them an ideal choice for a variety of security applications.
